PUMA / IPL campaign featuring the Deccan Chargers and the Rajasthan Royals

For Puma’s IPL V 2012 campaign we took the insight of what cricket and cricketers mean to India; it’s a super sport played by super heroes. We created two super hero style comics featuring the “Rock ‘n’ Royals” (Rajasthan Royals) and the “Electric Chargers” (the Deccan Chargers).

While the book covers were used in retail, the content online was kept current as we illustrated a one-page match report for each game as they happened live. The complete story from that match was put online and made available to all cricket fans the very next day on PUMA.com, Facebook and ESPN cricinfo.

At the end of the season the full comic book capturing the entire season for both teams was given away in stores.
