Obeetee

Obeetee is a well-recognised name when it comes to handwoven rugs. It’s been around since 1936 and their reputation for intricate craftsmanship, dynamic designs and ethical practices has received global acknowledgment.

We worked on their ‘Proud to be Indian’ project which, in collaboration with Abraham & Thakore (one of India’s most acclaimed design houses) created one-of-a-kind limited edition carpets that told a contemporary story of India. We designed the book that was published along with the launch of the carpets as well as the launch event which showcased the carpets through a variety of installations.
